Toyota, Honda hybrids power U.S. sales growth streak for Japanese cars

Automakers log 18% rise in volume in February along with Subaru and Mazda

NEW YORK -- Big Japanese automakers led by Toyota Motor logged higher U.S. sales in February, extending a growth streak to a full year.

Toyota, Honda Motor, Subaru and Mazda Motor sold about 374,000 new vehicles in the U.S. for the month, up 18% on the year.
